Price is per complete Leading on Adult Safeguarding course (1 to 10 or 11 to 20 delegates) and includes all online training courses and one live online training session (time/date by arrangement).

Firstly, to establish a baseline of knowledge, delegates take our one hour long Leading on Adult Safeguarding online course (included in the price), followed up by a 1.5 hour Live session with one of our safeguarding experts, arranged at a mutually convenient date and time, which covers their roles and responsibilities when working with adults at risk.

Programme:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Quick fire safeguarding quiz
  • Relevant regulatory requirements including OFSTED, CQC and the Charity Commission
  • Safeguarding competence and safer working practices
  • Dealing with sensitive and challenging situations: bespoke case scenarios linking to the organisation's safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Questions

(If needed, the Zoom session can also include a bite size module relating to child safeguarding for those who normally work only with adults at risk)

This course includes a comprehensive digital training pack and certificate of attendance, valid for 2 years, for each delegate.

This course also meets the educational criteria required for Level Three required for verifiable enhanced Continuing Professional Development under the General Dental Council's Lifelong Learning Scheme. It represents 4 hours of verifiable CPD, learning outcomes A, B and D. It is continuously updated to reflect the Care Act 2014 and related Care and support statutory guidance, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Charity Commission, local Safeguarding Partnership, Board and/or Committee requirements and local equivalents across the UK, including the Channel Islands.
